Red Stem Pilea has dull, steel blue foliage which contrasts sharply with the mahogany red stems. It forms an excellent creeping mat. Suitable to be planted with succulents, or interesting as a hanging basket or even a table centerpiece in a piece of pottery. It also works as an excellent under planting to tall floor plants to hide the soil. Red Stem Pilea also sporadically blooms with small pale pink flower clusters. Sold in a 2.5″ pot 4.83 fl. Oz. (143 ml).
