String of Beads, String of Pearls or Gooseberry Senecio is a popular and easy care succulent plant suitable for a hanging basket in a sunny window. The plant has small, football shaped leaves strung on thin stems like beads of a necklace. The plant will root along as its stems touch the soil, creating a full basket that will trail down. Fluffy white flowers appear on wiry stems, normally in Summer. Sold in a 3″ pot 7.33 fl. Oz. (217 ml).
