Papaya trees are the epitome of the tropics, with a lush canopy of large, exotic leaves and vibrant golden fruit dangling from the trunk. We grow them from seed as an ornamental, simply to bring the tropics to the Northern garden. The trees require cross-pollination to set fruit and it’s impossible to tell the sex of our seedlings until they flower. They excel as container plants and prefer warm temperatures and plenty of sunlight. Water regularly to ensure the soil remains consistently moist. Sold in a 1.8 Pt. pot (884 ml.).

Delivery & Shipping
Shipping cost for most items is a flat fee of $9 for the first item and $1 per additional item shipped. Some collections and larger items have a base shipping price of $11-$14.

Houseplant Policies
We ship your houseplants on Monday and Tuesday only via USPS (that way our babies won’t sit in a box over the weekend). Orders placed Thursday through Sunday will ship out on the following Monday.
