Sensitive Plant is a popular plant because of its curiosity value. The fern-like leaves close up and droop when touched, usually reopening in a few minutes. The stems are prickly, and it has small, fluffy, lavender, Sputnik-shaped flowers in mid-summer. Sensitive Plant is an excellent container plant which can be used as a summer annual or as an indoor houseplant. Provide full sun and allow to dry slightly between waterings. Water abundantly in summer and sparingly in winter. Sold in a 4.5″ Pot 1.37 Pt. (648 ml.).

Delivery & Shipping

Shipping cost for most items is a flat fee of $9 for the first item and $1 per additional item shipped. Some collections and larger items have a base shipping price of $11-$14.

Shipping is not available for ID, UT, or WA.
Deliveries to MT can only be shipped between October 1 & May 31.

Houseplant Policies

We ship your houseplants on Monday and Tuesday only via USPS (that way our babies won’t sit in a box over the weekend). Orders placed Thursday through Sunday will ship out on the following Monday.
